Green Spaces

Green Spaces

Pewsey Parish Council takes pride in looking after many of the green spaces that make our village a pleasant and attractive place to live.

Green Spaces

The Parish Council owns, manages and maintains a number of green areas throughout the parish, including:

  • Way’s Way

  • Rectory Grove

  • The Recreation Ground

  • The Scotchel

  • The Orchard (Broomcroft Road)

  • The small riverside garden in the village centre

These spaces are cared for by our contractors and supported by local volunteers who help keep them clean and welcoming.

Grass Verges

The Parish Council is responsible for the grass cutting of most verges across the village. This includes areas around:

  • Old Hospital Road

  • Broomcroft Estate

  • Whatley Drive

  • Swan Meadow

  • Raffin Lane

We work with id Verde, our appointed contractor, to ensure these areas are well maintained.

Trees

The Parish Council is only responsible for trees located on land it owns. If you notice an issue with a tree and believe it may fall under the Parish Council’s care, please get in touch.
